Health, Safety and Environmental Management Overview
Andishmandan Jonoob Co. recognizes and accepts its obligations as an employer in providing a safe and healthy workplace and working environment for all employees, visitors, client and any others affected by company activities both on Andishmandan Jonoob Co. premises and on clients’ premises or worksites.
Cornerstones of this policy are as follows:
The company promotes the regular review of safety information. Safety issues are discussed at weekly operational meetings, which are attended by senior and line managers and support staff. There is also regular distribution and review of 3rd party safety issues.
The awareness and behavior of individuals is seen as key to the safe execution of works. The company targets improved awareness through appropriate safety training, and active involvement and consultation of all staff in the review of company and industry wide safety issues.
Project risks are assessed at regular intervals throughout the life of a contract, from initial tender review through to the mobilization and execution of the works.
Where a risk is unacceptable, the company encourages the right to stop work and review methods and techniques being used.
The company has a progressive and developmental approach to QA and HSE management, and has implemented an annual QHSE plan. This provides details of the HSE and QA targets, and how the company monitors that the targets are being achieved. The plan includes the following key review areas:
The Andishmandan Jonoob Co. Health, Safety and Environment Systems are an integral part of the company’s Integrated Management System. Copies of all manuals are controlled by our office, with controlled versions distributed to project operations.
The system guidelines are complemented and supported by specific procedures which are held within the documentation of the Management System.
